Title: Quantifying Exciton Diffusion Length in Organic Solar Cells: Diffusion Model

Speaker: Dr. Jingrun Chen, UCSB

Time and place: 4:00-5:00p, March. 28, 2013, 502 Pao Yue-Kong Library

Abstract:

Exciton diffusion length (EDL) is an important parameter to characterize the energy conversion of organic solar cells. Diffusion model is used to compute EDLs of different materials under photoluminescence and photocurrent measurements. Results obtained are consistent with other models. Due to the particularity of some materials, it is observed that energy transfer effect must be included to produce good results.
