Title: On growth laws, proteome partition, and metabolic coordination

Abstract:
The talk is mostly on simple biology experiments that led to a quantitative phenomenological description linking molecular interactions and cellular behaviors. The math is no more than 3 linear equations and the experiments are based on pre-1970 technology; so (I hope) it is accessible to a broad audience.
