Abstract: Several recent imaging modalities may be modeled by the reconstruction of coefficients in partial differential equations from knowledge of internal information. In several cases, this gives rise to over-determined systems of nonlinear partial differential equations. This talk will introduce such inverse problems, called hybrid inverse problems or coupled-physics inverse problems and present several recent results of uniqueness and stability.
