Daya Bay Neutrino Experiment Collaboration Meeting, sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and co-organized by China Center of Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST), is held at SJTU campus during July 15 to 20, 2012. Dr. Jianglai Liu, a distinguished research fellow in Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics, Astronomy and Cosmology, works as the chairman.
This collaboration meeting has attracted about 140 collaborators from all around the world. Professor Xiangdong Ji, Chair of Physics Department, reads an address of welcome on behalf of President Jie Zhang, and then gives an academic lecture.

This meeting boasts an animated and lively academic atmosphere. The participants make conclusions on the state that each system of the Daya Bay experiment runs at present, and discuss meticulously about such problems as the physical analysis of Daya Bay Neutrino Experiment, experiment settings in the next stage, and long-term operation plans.

This meeting gives us an opportunity to share the latest results of neutrino theoretic studies and experiments with the world, strengthening China’s international competitiveness in this area. It is a sizeable collaboration meeting with higher academic standards in terms of scholarly level, reputation of participants, and seminar topics. With the opening of this symposium and its follow-up work, more and more international top-level physicians will be attracted to the world’s leading experiments in relevant fields. Meanwhile, this meeting will promote China’s neutrino studies, help to cultivate a galaxy of talents and experts, and strengthen China’s superiority in this area.

This symposium is a grand meeting for international academic communication. It represents the research status and the latest scientific developments of the world’s neutrino physics, as well as shows the developments and achievements of China’s neutrino physics. This meeting has promoted academic exchanges between scientists working in neutrino physics or other relevant fields in the world.
