摘要
A review of the theory and experimental discovery of neutrino
oscillations will be presented. A short discussion of currently existing neutrino "anomalies" will then be presented, and a perspective on the current and future program of research in neutrino physics and astrophysics.

Ray Volkas earned his PhD in theoretical particle physics from the University of Melbourne in 1987, where he is currently a Professor and Director of the Melbourne node of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Particle Physics at the Terascale. He has been an ARC Queen Elizabeth II Fellow and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science. His research area is "beyond the standard model" theoretical physics.
