Dirac electrons in low-dimensional graphitic materials

摘要

Electronic band in graphene and metallic carbon nanotube shows linear dispersion, where electrons behaves as massless Dirac fermions with pseudo-spin structure. In this talk, I will present the optical response of Dirac electrons in graphene, as well as plasmonic property of metallic carbon nanotubes, revealed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning near-field optical microscopy (SNOM).

报告人简介

史志文,2007年毕业于中国科学技术大学物理系,2012年获中科院物理研究所物理学博士学位,2012年至今在加州大学伯克利分校做博士后研究。主要从事实验凝聚态光学研究,已在Nature physics, Advanced Materials 等杂志上发表论文20篇。
